About Aspirin
Aspirin is used both as a painkiller (standard doses: 300-600mg) and as a heart/stroke protector (low dose: 75mg). It is not recommended in children under 16 due to Reye's syndrome risk.
Also sold as: Disprin, Aspro, Nu-Seals
Aspirin and Alcohol
Avoid regular alcohol with aspirin — together they significantly increase the risk of stomach bleeding and ulcers.
