About Omeprazole
Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce stomach acid. It is available over-the-counter (10mg, 20mg) and on prescription (40mg). It is one of the most commonly prescribed drugs in the UK.

Use with caution — alcohol irritates the stomach omeprazole is treating, and may slightly increase omeprazole levels in the body.
