About Propranolol
Propranolol is a non-selective beta-blocker used for heart conditions, migraine prevention, and situational anxiety (e.g. performance anxiety). In diabetics, it masks hypoglycaemia warning signs. Do not stop suddenly.
Also sold as: Inderal, Bedranol, Angilol
Propranolol and Alcohol
Use caution — alcohol can enhance propranolol's blood-pressure-lowering effect and may mask signs of low blood sugar in diabetics.
